Hair suspension is a captivating and rare aerial art form where performers are gracefully lifted and suspended solely by their hair, creating an ethereal and gravity-defying spectacle. This mesmerizing practice demands exceptional strength, precision, and meticulous hair care to safely support the body's weight while executing fluid movements and acrobatics.

The origins of hair suspension trace back to ancient traditions in Chinese circus arts and South American indigenous rituals. In China, this art, known as "Fa Ji Shen Gong," has been an integral part of acrobatic performances for centuries, showcasing endurance and balance. Meanwhile, certain indigenous South American tribes incorporated hair suspension into spiritual ceremonies, symbolizing a profound connection between the physical and spiritual realms.

Drawn to the unique fusion of strength and elegance, I embarked on my hair suspension journey in the summer of 2023. Since then, I've had the privilege of performing at esteemed venues and festivals, including Lunacy Berlin—where I performed suspended from a tree and within a cage—Berlin's underground Zirkus Mond, Ballhaus Berlin, and the Helsinki Queerlesque Festival 2024.
